Realize Visual Effects for Instructor

We need a instructor to lead and attract the player to touch the rose., which connects the hand with the rose.

I realized the instructor with particle systems, using lights, external forces combined with wind zone, collision and trail, to enable it interact with the hand. Then I wrote one script to set the generator stay specific distance sway from the hand and indicate the direction towards the rose.

 

Realize Particle System Timeline with Scripts

There’s a plot that the energy inside the rose released, lighting up the whole scene.

I wrote a scripts to control the particles more concisely to make the lights of particles system distribute and light up the world evenly. Then I combined the shaders and scripts to lerp between two skyboxes and adjust the lighting in the scene gradually.

Model, Rig, Animate and Texture

Animated a snake using control points, inverse kinematics and sine handle shape.

Modeled with Maya and textured using Substance Painter
